music theory?

i just want to know if you know anything about music theory? serious question, because there is this one note that sounds out of key and does not sound so great. read up on key signatures and whats the difference between a major key and minor and the whole pattern between minor and major. if you get that down then none of your melodies will sound out of key if you know about keys.
keep it up.

hmmmm

i can say that all you have to do is work on your melodies. find popular songs amongst newgrounds and find why the melody is so attracting to the ear. study it. then experiment with your own style.
second, the percussion was distorted sounding.
i am just trying to let you know what was not so great.
keep on trying and you will, no doubt, become better!

hey man

okay the only reason i gave you such a low score was because that whole melody came from FL studio when you start it up. so if you could please come up with your own stuff. not trying to be an ass or anything just saying make it original.

it was good

it was pretty good till you brang your kick drum into play. it was a little too distorted and it killed the rest for me. it was hard to enjoy with grinding of the drum. but overall it was a good song.

[Halloween 2 FX]

it was pretty awesome

I really liked the intro. It was very abstract and noisy, in my terms meaning lots of noises. the only thing i raised an eyebrow to was the piano in the intro. I know the FL piano is pretty lame but there are a lot of free piano samples online that sound pretty good. Just sample up a storm and i'm sure there can be some good noises made with the samples. overall i liked it very much with the faint heart beat and all. nice. keep it up.

hm... that piano is actually a nexus preset, but thx anyways xD. I'll admit im not too good at getting my pianos too sound good, however personally I think it sounds fine
