ok, ok, ok. so that was actually pretty good :D
the only thing that kept getting to me was , you already know, the quality of the mic. Your rap style reminds me of "cake" and i like it.
it reminds of when i was little and i'd be jammin. i'll definitely make a beat for you bro. i'm in this hardcore dub mode, but i think i know what'll sound good bro :D

music theory?

i just want to know if you know anything about music theory? serious question, because there is this one note that sounds out of key and does not sound so great. read up on key signatures and whats the difference between a major key and minor and the whole pattern between minor and major. if you get that down then none of your melodies will sound out of key if you know about keys.
keep it up.

hmmmm

i can say that all you have to do is work on your melodies. find popular songs amongst newgrounds and find why the melody is so attracting to the ear. study it. then experiment with your own style.
second, the percussion was distorted sounding.
i am just trying to let you know what was not so great.
keep on trying and you will, no doubt, become better!

it was pretty awesome

I really liked the intro. It was very abstract and noisy, in my terms meaning lots of noises. the only thing i raised an eyebrow to was the piano in the intro. I know the FL piano is pretty lame but there are a lot of free piano samples online that sound pretty good. Just sample up a storm and i'm sure there can be some good noises made with the samples. overall i liked it very much with the faint heart beat and all. nice. keep it up.

hm... that piano is actually a nexus preset, but thx anyways xD. I'll admit im not too good at getting my pianos too sound good, however personally I think it sounds fine

Tnanks! You know whats funny is I started writing the notes for this right after playing alice for pc and fable 2, and I really wanted to get that fantasy sound....so I definatley had that vibe going, but it's all original! Cheers man!

okay

it could sound better, around "00:25" everything started to get blurred together. i couldn't tell which subject was which. and i don't know if you finished the song but the ending could use some work instead of dropping out after an intense build up. it sounds like you just wanted it to end so you did anything to end it.
